Holtek has launched the BC68F0031 RF Transparent Transmission Application Specific Standard Product (ASSP) Flash MCU, which serves as a bridge between the RF IC and the main control system chip, allowing users to customize communication formats and quickly add RF communication functionality to complex systems.
The BC68F0031 has 2K × 16 Flash ROM and 128 bytes of RAM for programming different RF IC transmission settings. It also has 32 bytes of true EEPROM for storing RF pairing data. The built-in high-precision 8MHz HIRC eliminates the need for an external oscillator, minimizing the size of the transparent transmission module PCB. The IC offers three serial port interfaces (SPI/I2C/UART) to choose as the interconnection between the RF IC and the main control system.
The BC68F0031 operates at a voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V, with multiple software-selectable voltage detection and reset levels (LVD, LVR). It is available in 16-pin NSOP and 8-pin SOP packages, with maximum of 14 and 6 I/Os, respectively, and meets the performance requirements for industrial temperature (-40°C to 85°C) and high noise immunity.
Holtek provides reference designs for transparent transmission modules in combination with its RF chips and offers a professional RF design team that supports software, hardware, and RF/transparent transmission technology services. It also provides an OCDS development chip with online simulation, debugging, and programming capabilities to enable intuitive and rapid RF product development.
